Local Bookstores to Visit in Atlanta

Atlanta abounds with places for the bibliophile! From public libraries to campus bookstores, book clubs and author signings, the Georgia Center for the Book and the AJC Decatur Book Festival, something can be found for every literary style.  The area is also home to some of the best independent books stores around!  These shops feature local authors alongside New York Times Bestsellers, new and used books, specialty and children’s books.  Plus, you will only find “the South’s oldest independent feminist bookstore” here in Atlanta – Charis Books and More (http://www.charisbooksandmore.com/)!  So, put down your Kindle or your Nook and go find a book!
